Project-1

Name of the Project : Manufacturing of Critical Missile Component by Using CNC Turn-Mill Center

Duration : 1 Month

Description of the project :

In this process which include machine selection, development of process plan, CNC programming development, work holding devices, tool and inspection methodology. The first stage is process plan identification of required operation and sequence adapted to complete the job as per component drawing requirement. The second stage involve identification of machine tools and machining parameters, work holding devices, cutting tools and other accessories. The third stage involves material status verification at each stage or steps and finding the optimal solution or method. The fourth stage involve inspection plan of a product with suitable inspection methods.

Name of the Project : Fabrication of Rocker-Bogie Mechanism Model with Anti-Aircraft Missile/Satellite Launcher

Duration : 4 Month

Description of the project :

We have entered a new phase of solar system exploration which has become increasingly necessary in order to answer questions about the origin and history of solar system bodies such as mars, moon, asteroids, and comets etc. It is very challenging task to land and collect the data from an unknown body whose environment may be unexpected. Space robotics has become the main area of research for many researcher and scientist all over the world, various research are going on space robotics in different fields as mechanical, electrical, electronics, software etc. In the present work the six wheeled rocker-bogie rover with anti-aircraft missile launcher and satellite launcher is described. The detailed kinematics modeling and the quasi-static force analysis is presented for the rocker-bogie rover. The dynamics of the system is presented based on the bond graph modeling and the motor dynamics is also integrated to the system. Simulation of the rover is performed and the performance of the rover is analyzed on different uneven surfaces and missile (rocket) launching system has been tested successfully.
