MAJOR - OPERATIONS OFFICER Military (SDDC) (May 2007 – June 2010)

Shift Battle Captain for the SDDC Operations Center (G-3) at Fort Eustis Virginia. G-3 is responsible for the overland lift component and is the primary surface distribution manager for USTRANSCOM. SDDC has a presence in 24 water ports worldwide and in an average year manages and directs the movement of 3.7 million tons (4.2 million m ) of ocean cargo.

MAJOR - EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND LEAD LOGISTICS PLANNER (May 2006 – April 2007)

XO for a support battalion under the newly formed Support Brigade / USASOC. The battalion comprised of 400+ personnel with the mission of providing sustained logistical support to Special Operation Forces in Southwest Asia.

Planned, supervised and managed Battalion Operations by integrating sequential event planning and cross coordination of both personnel and unit equipment.

Expert in Infrastructure assessment to determine requirements based on event specifications, manpower demands and capabilities

CJSOTF-A Service Detachment Commander, Bagram, Afghanistan (September 2004 – April 2005)

Planned, coordinated and supervised over 20 humanitarian and tactical missions which involved the movement of over 200 Tons of military equipment and cargo While serving with CJSOTF(A).

Noted expert in aerial and airborne logistics operations in austere environments requiring ingenuity and use of unconventional methods.

Commended by superiors for single handedly deploying the 7th SFG(A) in support of CJSOTF(A) Operations.

CAPTAIN (COMMANDER) Service Detachment 7th SFG(A) (February 2003 – April 2006)

Responsible for the readiness and training of 81 soldier in the performance of unit level maintenance, supply, food service, transportation and parachute rigging support of the Group. Maintained accountability and operational of MTOE equipment valued at $66 million to include more than 80 pieces of rolling stock and power generation equipment. Provides multi-function split-based logistics in both CENTCOM and SOUTHCOM AOR’s. Provides coordination for all modes of transportation supporting both training and operational deployments. Responsible for the Group Support Company’s budget of over $2.3 million.

CAPTAIN (PRIMARY LOGISTICS OFFICER )7th SFG(A) (October 2001 – January 2003)

Directly responsible for logistics planning and coordination of transportation assets, equipment, cargo and personnel for movement in support of 7th SFG(A) missions. Responsible and accountable for all coordination of 7th SFG(A) assets between AMC, SDDC, Port Authorities and Custom’s offices (foreign/domestic), respective ITO offices, State and any local municipalities while providing In-transit visibility of 7th SFG(A) assets utilizing the Defense Transportation System between multiple theaters.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining logistical lines of communication (LOC’s) in environments outside of US Forces infrastructure / presence.
