Undergoing Process Design and Aspen Hysys Simulation Course in Petrokens Engineering and Services Pvt Limited.
To Obtain knowledge in crude exploration and the unit operations involved in the process of crude oil. The course elaborately involves the following.
Preparation of Line hydraulics and NPSHa: based on velocity and pressure drop criteria and knowledge on factors involving piping for centrifugal and reciprocating pumps.
Using EDR (Exchanger Design and Rating) tool in hysys sizing and rating of Heat Exchangers are done including development of TEMA sheet.
Separator Sizing: Sizing of 2 and 3 phase (Basics) separator as per API and GPSA design standard.
Preparation of PFD and P&ID based on process design basis, isolation philosophy with all primary and secondary safety requirements. Reviewing of P&ID, control schemes required based on control philosophy.
Development of Datasheet: Equipment size, process condition, fluid properties, inlet and outlet nozzle sizes by incorporating material of construction, specifications and schematic diagram.
Aspen Hysys Simulation: Knowledge in selection of components and required property packages. Developing crude compositions from the oil manager. Development of heat and mass balance. Optimizing the process using Aspen Simulation.
