1.Closed large-scale 20 SKU, full-scale multi-million dollar national rollout with Office Depot for 2010 into 2011. Largest project ever landed in the company. Oversee all negotiations and account P & L.

2.Led Polaroid domestic sales activity and drove strategic initiatives launching this new business in new categories under the Polaroid brand.

3.Directed activity with Best Buy, Walmart, Sears Holdings, Target, Office Depot, Ingram Micro/DBL, SED, Apple, Rymax Incentives, and Tiger Direct/Comp USA.

November 2006 – January 2009

BELKIN INTERNATIONAL INC. Compton, CA.

Director of Sales/Senior National Accounts Manager:

Multi-dimensional leadership role directing the sales effort for the Pure AV brand in North America, with a business development focus on the Custom and Pro AV channels.

1.Achieved a 31% increase in top line growth, and 64% increase in gross profit in FY07, continuing with 27% top line and 48% GP increases for overall AV business unit in FY08.

2.Challenged to move through 3M of problematic excess inventory in 9-month target window, which was accomplished in 4 months, resulting in improvement of critical working capital.

3.Directed a 50% increase at DBL in FY07, 94% increase at Petra in FY08, and overcoming significant resistance, launched PC Richard into networking category for Belkin.

4.Directed a national network of 15 independent reps as well as functioning as an internal “sales consultant” on the Pure AV line to other Belkin business units. Assumed additional responsibility directly overseeing several key channel customers across all product lines.

Reporting directly to the CEO, recruited for newly created turnaround position, revamped entire US go to market strategy with aggressive, targeted approach for DJ/Pro Audio marketplace, sales channel P&L responsibility.

With total staff of 9, developed and implemented new sales programs, internal compensation programs, and measurement tools.

1.Converted the sales force to direct, replacing the (14) independent rep companies with a total of 46 people in the field, saving the company over $500,000 while sales increased 21%.

2.Developed and implemented new inside sales/outbound telemarketing initiative; sales increased 32% in the first six months from this initiative.

April 2000 – November 2004

SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS OF AMERICA, Ridgefield Park, NJ/ Irvine, CA.

National Sales Manager Pro A/V, Information Technologies Division

Brought in to oversee and strategically build this new startup unit from scratch, marketing Digital Flat Panel Display Products (Plasma, LCD, DLP), and providing consultative display solutions, as the business development head, to the commercial, hospitality and B2B/B2I/Custom Install markets with a focus on Digital Signage.

1.Established national distribution/direct dealer network from scratch. Recruited, hired, trained, and led national sales /marketing/engineering organization. Restructured from independent reps to a direct sales force.

2.Produced over a 300% increase in sales revenues in both 2002 and 2003, including 8 straight record months in a row managing national dealer and distribution network.
