10/2010-06/2013
Arkansas Urology Clinic Little Rock, AR
Receptionist
Being the first person the patient would see entering the clinic I took pride in greeting each and every patient and in making sure every aspect of my job duties were handled in a time efficient manner. I was responsible for answering the phones while I was checking patients in and out for each of their respective visits. It was my responsibility to verify all insurances the patient presented so the correct copay could be collected promptly. Faxing all patient documentation to different offices and pharmacies was another responsibility of mine.
08/2007-10/2010
Baptist After Hours Pediatric Clinic Little Rock, AR
Information Associate/ Receptionist/Training Associate
While with Baptist I honed my skills at greeting patients and their parents keeping the children in better spirits thru their sickness. Receiving all pertinent information from the parents was one of my more important jobs to have accomplished in a timely manner before the patient was allowed to see the nurse/doctor; I developed a certain skill set keeping the clinic progressively flowing throughout the day so no patient had to wait for a long time. Upon checking out I developed time management in multi-tasking due to I was responsible for collecting all copay upon checking out while entering all the charges from that patient’s visit. My time management skills were tested further due to interactions with patients while I was in a position of having to manage multiple phone lines at the same time. Eventually I was given more tasks once I had proven my capabilities of training all new coming employees into the clinic.
11/2009- 11/2010

Phone Operator/Medical Records Clerk
I was responsible for greeting all patients while answering the phone and making sure questions were answered correctly. Among my daily duties was pulling all charts for the following days patients appointments. When a request came into the clinic for shot records it was my responsibility to make sure we had all the documentation required to release the shot records.
