EXPERIENCE

Eyelite Vision September 2017- Present

Transcranial Doppler Technician

Employed by Eyelite Vision completing 843 Transcranial Doppler studies on a Natus Doppler system. Performed as a contractor on a team of 10 local doctors, eye technicians and other staff. Provided exceptional patient care, at times in difficult situations, performing studies on an average of five people daily as well as completing the necessary paperwork and contacting insurance companies in reference to payment. Responsible for training new employees as well as developing future business opportunities in the area. Screened patients for evaluation using several patient characteristics as indicators of risk. Following the completion of studies, followed company procedure to transmit and store results of the tests to radiologist for analysis. Upon receiving the completed results of the study, contacted referring doctor, primary care doctor and the patients. Ensured patients clearly understood the outcome of the study, answered questions concerning how the study was conducted and referred appropriate questions and concerns to the referring doctor.
