As a maintenance Supervisor, my duties were to make sure that all work is safely accomplished within FAR and FAA regulatory guidelines. Provide yearly job performance analysis to the company, with specific references to NAA maintenance program, according to established company policies and procedures. Construct analytical recovery reports for unusually extended grounded aircraft (AOG) events, caused by mechanical or system faults that occur both in-flight. Review incoming a/c for discrepancy items and pilot complaints log entries then rectifying action with troubleshooting, assigning manpower and ordering parts required. Also performing work on a/c out of station per AMM/FIM/SRM, NAA manuals and FAA regulations. Ensuring all departing a/c is airworthy and all work accomplished and documents in log book per AMM with airworthiness release and closely monitoring all work and inspection accomplished on company a/c using on company a/c with proper references and manuals.
As a maintenance Supervisor I flew on board occasionally to the ensure that airworthiness of company A/C (B757 and B767) in accordance with FAR’s and GMM. Interacting with flight crew and MCC with inbound items, correct or defer items per GMM. Recovering and assisting AOG a/c all over the world.
