Recruited through Campus Placement as Junior structural engineer with a design consultant,dealing with a detailed analysis,design and drawing preparation of tensile fabric structure,canopies and roof shades with structural steel framing.

Detailed Analysis and design review of Tensile fabric steel canopies roof shades with structural steel framings.

Performing wind load calculation for the steel structures and fabric which is the governing load for tensile fabric shade design. Using computer aided design technologies like Staad Pro,modelling of steel framings are done (as per BS,AISC,EN,IS specifications depending upon the conditions)

Designing the connection for the steel framing members such as cleat and welded connection using excel spreadsheet

Design of anchorage,base plate and flange connection with the load from Staad pro.

Preperation of design drawings containing plan, section,elevation and details of connections in CAD for submission.

Preparation of documentation of the detailed analysis and design for the purpose of approval for execution by the clients.

Calculating fabric and cable stresses from the fabric analysis resultants for choosing cable diameter and fabric specifications.

To reduce the harmful effect of heavy metals like copper on environment using green materials like coconut shell powder, activated charcoal, rice husk ash.

Achieved the objective with a removal efficiency of 96% using activated charcoal.
