Job Responsibilities:

MUD LOGGER:

Installation and Commissioning of Mud-Logging Units, Rig Modules, Control-Room Modules, Rig-Sensors, Laying-Out of Cables, Testing, Calibration of Instruments, Sensors, Gas Chromatographs and Maintenance, monitoring of all the parameters and equipments during operation.

Kick Control: Maintaining the pre – kick control data when mud or drilling parameters change.

Monitoring pumping data (SPM, SPP, Lag time, Lag strokes) during kick circulations and necessary operations. Identify probable cause of kick and recommending actions to prevent further occurrences.

Monitoring Mud (Mud volume, Mud wt., Mud Temp, Mud Cond. etc), Gas and drilling parameters (ROP, WOB, RPM, SPM, SPP, Hook load and torque etc.) for signs of imbalance of down hole. Monitoring of hole filling parameters during all trips.

Gas Detection: Continuous separation of Hydrocarbon gases C1, C2, and C3, iC4, nC4 and iC5. Prepare Gas Ratio Plot to obtain formation producibility.

Sampling: Collection of drilled samples at specified lagged intervals.

Washing, sieving and drying followed by packing and labelling.

Microscopic examination of samples and their interpretation.

Determination of shale density and shale factor, Determination of calcimetry

handling of core samples which include recovery, orientation sampling (packing & sealing). Preparation of required core logs and reports.

Other:

Preparing well logs and final well reports, which include Master log, D'exp plot, Composite Logs, Shale Density & Shale Factor Plots, Drilling parameters, Bit details, Gas analysis data, Casing & Cementation data etc., Organize the well control data for interpretation and future planning. Assist the drill site personals in determining mud densities required, for safe drilling.

Formation Evaluation:

Interpretation of Well logs (Gamma, Resistivity, Density logs)

Basic Idea of MWD operations.

Job Responsibilities:

The main objective is Rig Up, Commissioning and Maintenance of Mud-Logging Unit prior to the drilling operation.

Configuring Data server and Gas Chromatograph for all Well data Interpretation using DATALOG software and Linux based Servers.

Monitoring of hydrocarbon gas using Advanced Gas Detector “Varian CP4900” as latest enhancement of formation gas detection micro gas chromatograph, Calibration and Service of Gas Chromatograph, Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer (FID Technology).

Making proper erection and commissioning, Maintenance, Service, Trouble shooting & Calibration of diff. field Sensors like diff. type pressure sensor, Hook load, Stand pipe pressure, Casing up pressure, Torque of top drive, Mud conductivity, Mud temperature ( RTD pt 100), Pump Stroke(SPM), H2S Sensors, Ultrasonic level sensor, Mud Flow, Mud density(diaphragm type), volume, inductive proximity based strokes counter & RPM, incremental type encoder for depth processing, load cell bourdon tube based, 4-20 ma transmission using Data Acquisition Unit and GC with Data acquisition control system (DACS) Drilling and Logging Interpretationn, Operate Single Shot inclination tool for well deviation.

Software’s:

For real time data acquisition using Data log software well wizard vs.3/4 (WEATHERFORD SLS (ILI DATALOG before) Mud logging System) Data Storage, Computerised Logs & web enable transmissions, Loop Checking.

Monitoring, Logging and Preparing reports for all online drilling, mud and gas parameters, trip sheet, time analysis. Preparing Progress Reports, master and composite logs using Datalog software.
