Q-Chem Projects participations:

Project: FEED for Solid Sulphur Storage Silos & Handling System. The objective is to find a comprehensive solution to Solid Sulphur Storage and Handling system by performing FEED, then EPC to build a new system and replace the existing one to improve safety in storage, handling and loading of Sulphur, Prevent dead stock left in the storage that could not be shipped and to Increase the total size of each shipment.

Project: Detailed Engineering for Chemical Storage Warehouse. The project scope is to design and build a centralized chemical storage warehouse to accommodate all process chemicals in accordance with civil defense, safety and environmental regulations. It’s including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, E&I, and F&G works.

Project: Detailed Engineering of building refurbishment Aim of the project is to perform integrity assessment of existing Dehexaniser buildings to assess the cause of deterioration and arriving suitable remedial measures to extend life of the structure.

Project: Waste Water Treatment Plant (NZLD).

The overall project scope is to build a new WWTP in Q-Chem to maximizing Recovery and Reuse of Treated Industrial Water (RRTIW) in order to meet the Ministry of Environment requirement of minimum treated water discharge to sea.

Miscellaneous Projects: Design and construction for Steel structure platforms, Warehouses, Road asphalting, secondary containment

Work in Beni Sweif Power Plant (4800 MW) project, carrying out construction activities for mechanical packages installation and pre-commissioning such as gas compressors, heat exchanger, AFC and piping works for gas receiving unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage construction activities at site.

Check technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.

Ensure project meet agreed specifications, budgets and timeframes.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors for conflicts resolution.

Develop site construction reports (daily, weekly and monthly). Manage activities and supervise employees involved in the departmental operations. Assures the process, production requirements and product quality expectations and customer needs are met. Key Responsibilities:

Project: Laffan Refinery 2 "LR2- Qatar Gas" – Qatar. A 600 million USD EPC Contract has been signed to build the new refinery plant LR2. The new plant has been integrated with existing facilities such as Laffan Refinery 1 (LR1), tank farm and jetty. LR2 operated by Qatar Gas and have a daily production capacity of 60,000 barrels of naphtha, 53,000 barrels of jet fuel, and 24,000 barrels of gasoil and 9,000 barrels of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Installation of mechanical and process package equipment's.

Responsible for Carrying out Installation of Steam Boilers, AFCs', Gas compressors, pumps, Utility and water treatment stations.

Coordinate project execution activities to ensure that mechanical works are implemented as per the approved designs and in accordance with applicable code and QG Specs. 4- Monitor the progress of mechanical works against project schedules.

Supervise and manage the subcontractors for the construction works.

Plan and analyze all possible construction methodologies.

Supervise Erection / Installation double wall Cryogenic Ethylene Tank (50,000 m3).

Installation and commissioning of BOG compressors “Burckhardt compression”.

Installation and commissioning of five cryogenic submersible pumps.

Responsible for implementing and monitoring of mechanical equipment installation at site as per approved drawings and methods of statement.

Estimate, prepare and assign the manpower for daily activities.
