PROFILE

I have extensive Facilities and Property Management experience, which has been acquired in the residential, commercial, retail and hospitality sectors, in South Africa, Malaysia and China.

Project & Contract Management was a key element in my position as Regional Facilities & Property Manager.

I have also gained significant experience in renovations, repairs and maintenance whilst operating my own renovations business and thus have acquired experience in managing resources and consultants.

Additionally, I have extensive knowledge of Property Law, Regulations & Standards, Insurance, Asset & Financial Management, contractual and project management.

In addition to comprehensively managing properties efficiently and effectively, I am able to ensure an average Facility / building management reduction in operating cost by a minimum of up to 20 %

CAREER HISTORY

JUNE 2024 – August 2024 COMPLEX MANAGER: President Apartments, Bantry Bay

Job Description: Overall building management, management of staff, tenant liaison, project management and supervision of service providers, i.e. contractors, etc.

Responsibilities:

Management of the day to day running of the buildings, routine maintenance and repairs.

Liaising with the Chairman, Trustees, owners and consulting with architects, contractors and negotiating pricing structures.

Risk assessment of the building.

Compilation of maintenance plans (immediate, 3, 5 and 10 year).

Initiate, monitor and control preventative maintenance plans.

Enforcement of access control & safety procedures.

Compilation of monthly reports.

Ensure correct operation and regular maintenance of the generator.

Project management - coordination and supervision.

Ensure that staff are up to date in terms of Occupational Health & safety.
