Lakewood, Ca 90713

PROFILE

Husband and father of two boys ages 17 and 13. Home owner in Lakewood, Ca since 2012. Most home and automotive repairs have been self performed including the design, fabrication, and finishing of a large majority of home furnishings, ie; dining set, end tables, mantle, light fixtures, entry gates, masonry etc. I have always been eager to learn how things work, including the repair and/or improvement thereof, often on the fly. More often than not, when confronted with unfamiliar territory, I do not rest until I have a grasp on the engineering.

All facets of work as a Local 433 Union Ironworker including bolting, plumbing, welding, erecting, layout, survey, planning, rigging, heavy moving, stairs, crane assemble/dismantle, and logistics. I built part of the skyline from central California to San Diego.

22 Story Offices- Irvine, 4 total

LAFC Soccer Stadium- Downtown L.A

SOFI Stadium- structure, roof, scoreboard- Inglewood

Gerald Desmond Bridge- Port of L.A.

EXPERIENCE

Fabrication with steel, stainless, aluminum, copper, brass, wood. Paint/Body, chassis geometry, engine, wiring, fuel systems, drive train and brakes. All experience acquired through trial and error or family, but no official formal training.

SKILLS

I was enrolled in a 4 year art program in high school that encompassed many different media, techniques, design elements, and color theory, most of which has spilled into whatever it is, that I find myself building. I am currently working on hand painted wood grain that I developed myself for the 1934 Ford build. When I started the restoration of the 1936 Dodge, I had never done a vehicle restoration. A large majority of the things I have accomplished have been self taught and although some of the methods may not be conventional, I take great pride in the process.

FUTURE

I am a very self driven individual and as long as I am blessed to wake up, I have every intention of building, saving, and restoring what I see to be important parts of history, and this also includes striving to do best that I can both as a provider, and hopefully a good example to my family.
