I have worked with children in general for the last 10 years, beginning with my first job as a YMCA camp counselor at 17 years old in 2009. I then taught children English in Madrid while studying abroad there in 2011, coached basketball to underprivelaged children at the boys and girls club in Santa Monica, and did other various tutoring for both adolescents and adults as well. While living in Mexico City in 2015, I also taught a English to business professionals, as well as children for two different companies part time, while launching a Startup online trade Company. During this time in Mexico City, I was the Sales Manager and PR Director for our startup for most of 2015. As you will see in my resume, I used a variety of sales techniques to sign up members and assist our new customers with uploading and selling their products on their sites, including phone, email, and in-person sales calls and customer service. I also used CRM to train, manage and organize my sales team of 3 employees and our sales strategies and progress. The career I have had for most of the last 6 years, and my true passion, has been teaching and providing therapy to children with autism and other mental or developmental disorders, as well as providing some family therapy in a case manager role. This began in 2012 with an internship at one of UCLA's autism research programs, then as an ABA Behavioral Therapist (in-home and school aide/teascher’s assistant) in an organization in Los Angeles in 2013, followed by AST in San Diego 2014-15.

I then worked as an Autism Education Associate (a mixture of a teacher role to a class of about 20 4-5 years olds and providing therapy and tracking peer play and socialization goals to 10 children in the class with autism) in Rady Children's Hospital's Preschool Inclusion Program, Alexa's PLAYC 2015-16. Following this, I worked as a Case Manager and Registered Behavior Technician at ABA Behavior Therapies and testing 2016-17, balancing program/case management including writing client goals and behavior plans and parent training with 1:1 therapy to implement cIient programs. Since this time, I have been in a gradual transition from working in therapy to teaching. I got my Substitute teaching certificate in August 2018, and have been teaching part-time in SD and OC while pursuing a Masters in Education in National University's teaching credential program. I have also been working retail sales and in the restaurant field (food and drink delivery) part-time to balance out all of my passions and skills while I search for the best avenue for me to pursue permanently.

I am now interested in jobs in any of these areas: Editing, writing, ABA, therapy, animal care, marketing, pharmacy, sales, restaurant service, retail, teaching, tutoring, and any service to children in schools, community centers or home settings.

This took one week.

On Site, I took on the experimenter role in this double-blind study, administered 2- 4 different tests to over 100 students, took data on how quickly each test was finished and how many mistakes were made, then entered this data to present a final trend that could validate the efficacy of the two different tests, by revealing which assessment produced more simple and reliable results to flag potential students with dyslexia and get them necessary services.
