JOB OBJECTIVE

I am seeking a position where I can be a valued member of an amazing team.

March 2016 to Current B. Davis Renovations, Indianapolis, IN

For several hours a week I utilize my knowledge of QuickBooks to enter into the system all of

the Invoices and create the Customer orders, files and payment receipts.

April 2016 to Current - Modern Builders Supply, Indianapolis, IN

With my background from Home Depot this has been but a refresher course in materials and a

learning curve in their processes. I answer telephone calls and questions from customers,

create invoices from their conversations (emails or faxes), contact them and sell the product. I

am currently working with 2 couples that are building their homes from the ground up. I have

learned how to receive their product and special order what is not stocked at the store. I am

also in charge of the Show Room and all of the sales information available to the customer.

February 2015 to March 2016 - Central Indiana Cooling and Heating, Greenfield, IN

I am currently the Office Manager for this business. I am in charge of all Human Resources,

Accounts Payable/Receivable, Inventory, Scheduling, Customer Service, Billing, Vendor

Returns and the functionality of our team and vehicles. Within my first 3 months I filed for, and

received approximately $4,000.00 in payment for processed returns from supplier vendors.

August 2015 to October 2015 - Wild Ridge Lawn & Landscape, Indianapolis, IN

I serve as a Customer Service rep to customers that phone in for new service. I have also

reviewed their maintenance/utility budget and made changes saving the company $2,000 a

year. I have made changes to their inventory system in regards to their live goods, set up a

rotation for use and worked out a credit program for dead inventory with the supplier. I am

currently in the process of finding a new Health and Automotive insurance company to reduce

their money out of pocket. We are currently using Quick Books Pro to account for all invoices

(vendor and customer), payroll, accounts receivable/receivable and HR.

I started with CFA as a Front line associate, working myself up into Management within 6

months. I then started taking care of Accounts payable and receivable, Human Resources and

payroll. Meeting with vendors and suppliers to make sure that the product and services I

received were of the most superior quality. Inventory ordering and control, within 2 years I

reduced the waste of this location by 68% helping pave the way to their continued success.

Constant contact with the Corporate offices in Atlanta regarding our P&L each month.

Scheduling for the team members. Cash management and researching any discrepancies.

Budget goals were consistently met and frequently under budget. As part of the new

machinery and menu test market I was instrumental in making changes to the machinery with

the manufacturers.

Customer service desk and operations team. This, I soon realized was not the best spot for

me.

March 1991 to August 2007 - Home Depot U.S.A., Livonia, MI and Indianapolis, IN

Cash management. Department head of several areas: Special Services, Paint, Plumbing,

Receiving and Kitchen and Bath. Formerly accredited by the NKBA (National Kitchen and

Bath Association). Taught home improvement classes on Saturday mornings. Team Leader

for Kaboom projects, Habitat for Humanity projects and MSDS lead and Inventory specialist.

For several years I was the lead for their Cash Room.
