Main Roles:
Strategic planning of Human Resources for the manufacturing of durable goods in a lean environment.
Policy initiation and formulation of new policies or policy revisions.
Advice or counseling management about Human Resources policies, federal, and state labor laws in order to develop sound decisions supportive of the company’s goals and objectives.
Provide Human Resources services in recruitment, selection, retention, and planning of training programs.

Essential Functions:
Policy interpretation, administer benefits programs and train plant personnel.
Ensure that adequate compensation schedules are competitive with industry, recruiting, performance management, federal/state labor laws, employee relations; assist management with proper handling of plant procedural and disciplinary issues.
Recruit and hire office and plant personnel, to ensure adequate staffing.
Maintain consistency with company’s Human Resources policies and procedures. Recommend modifications or additions, as needed.
Establish and maintain all personnel records, medical worker’s compensation, FMLA that are consistent with labor laws.
Composition of job descriptions and postings.
Support, monitor, and advice in matters of Company action to ensure EEO and OSHA compliance.
