BACKROUND:

I have had 35 years of experience in the automotive and aerospace industry. I have been a Machine Tool Builder, Service Technician, Quality Assurance Manager, Project Manager and Project Engineer. I have experience with a wide variety of machines. I also have experience in Aerospace Tooling, Equipment and Quality. I have managed multi-million dollar projects, traveled globally, and maintained strategic partnerships.

General Motors Warren Technical Center 2014-Present

Project Engineer

Work with GM facilities to identify equipment needs

Write Scopes of work for new machinery

Monitor budgets for projects

Modify scopes and budgets as necessary

Work with tier 1 suppliers

Overseeing machinery from concept through installation.

Work with tier 1 suppliers of Front of line / End of line machinery from concept

through installation including all mechanical acceptance testing for GM facilities.

Overseeing the project from the beginning design, reviews, scope of

work, functionality, putting it out for quotes, design review, build stage, shipping installation and buyoff processes.

FCS and ORA Users Group:

Host global Webex for FCS and ORA Users Group, wherein identified issues are addressed, health assessments are conducted, solutions are formulated, action plans are put into place and repairs are made.

Coordinate all FCS and ORA issues and or repairs for all facilities.

Overseeing New Suppliers:

Travel to facilities globally. Responsible for identifying new suppliers and help

develop new technologies, assessing machinery manufacture and design to

decide on best price of machinery and durability to meet the GM standards.

Acquire and manage installation projects for our clients, from teardown of equipment through integration and buy-off in the customer’s facility.
