• Promoted to current position of Production Lead in 2007. This is a management position with responsibilities of performance monitoring, training of new hires, waste reduction, equipment trouble-shooting, and plant management.
• Manage a team of 10-20 employees, including scheduling, safety monitoring and production performance.
• During my 36 year + tenure at Printpack Corporation (James Rivers and Crown Zellerbach), I have worked in all capacities in the plant. I have extensive experience working on laminators, slitting machines and rotogravure printing.
• Have helped prepare our plant for American Institute of Baking inspections, achieving an Excellent score every time.
• Help implement Volunteer Protection Program for OSHA in the plant, obtaining certification on the first inspection.
• Visited customers’ plants to explain to their employees Printpack’s operations from printing to lamination and finishing up with slitting. Additionally, have done customer site visits to trouble- shoot problems with our products.

• Quickly promoted to E5 Sergeant in recognition of commitment to training and education.
