Summary

After many years in the stone fabrication industry, I developed a passion

for renewable energy and decided to go back to school. Throughout my

career, I've worked in a variety of industries and workplaces, but one

theme has been consistent: I'm a problem-solving self-starter, committed to

continuous process improvement and building positive teams. As you can see

in this resume, I've been given progressively more responsible positions in

each field where I've worked. I'm looking forward to applying what I've

learned while earning my associate's degree in renewable energy technology

and B.S. in operations management.

Employment

Stone fabricator (1997-2017): After beginning as a polisher, I moved on to

lead fabricator and then master fabricator. For the last 9 years, I've

owned my own stone fabricating, consulting and construction business.

Retail sales and restaurant industry (1985-1997): After starting my first

job in shoe repair, I moved into sales and then retail management.

Similarly, I began in the restaurant industry by busing tables and then

moved into server, chef, and management roles.
