DAWES $50M 240 KV Substation, Fort McMurray & 500KV Bonnyville to Borque 51 km Transmission Line: Effectively managed a team of contractors to ensure the quality of finished work aligned with project specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements for successful transmission of power upon completion. Saved $ 300,000 by suggesting to change substation pad slopes & 250,000 by suggesting to relocate 8 transmission line tower. Sheppard Energy Centre, $ 1.4 B 800 MW, ENMAX & Clover bar Generation Station, $200M 250 MW, EPCOR. Engaged in execution and inspection of civil earth works, shallow and deep foundations, engineered building and structural steel erection, concrete grade beams/slabs and mass foundations, cooling towers, plant buildings, tank pad, pipe racks, pipe lines and electrical duct banks, access roads, drainage, culverts, erosion controls, retaining walls, office buildings, warehouse, and other associated civil/structural works for mechanical/electrical installation. ● Managed series of medium to large electrical substations, transmission lines and oil sands expansion projects while managing sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, third party agency and project support team members.
● Involved in pre construction phase of the project included but not limited to site visits with project team, feasibility studies, risk analysis and preliminary costing estimates in order to create project charter.
● Participated in bid reviews, kick offs, functional and safety meetings, while leading weekly progress meetings; provided feedback to client and crew members in regards to the project performance & preventive action.
