Project Detail:-
Currently working on EcoWASH Project that is funded by DST (Department of Science & Technology) which is based on environmental mapping and where my duty on Spatial Analysis, Participatory Mapping and data and handling in Arcgis and as well as in QGIS.
Functioning on GIS knowledge in Health Care and demographic data of 51 villages
(Creation of Base Map, Participatory Mapping).
Hydrological Analysis with QGIS (Creating DEM, Delineating watershed, fill sink hole, Spatial Analysis etc.)
Worked on Base Map Creation (Rail, road, building, utilities etc) for Ujjian in kumbh Mela Experiment.
Land Use/Land Cover Mapping and Building Mapping for South Bangalore “Slum Free City Mapping”. Meanwhile worked on Image processing from Erdas Imaging11.
Definition of National GIS Standard And National GIS Foundation Dataset: In this project we have addressed suite of National GIS Standards(National GIS Content Standard and a National GIS Content Thesaurus, National Spatial Framework (NSF) definition While WGS-84 datum can be standardized, it is important that the geographic projection be adopted by National GIS, National GIS Database Standard, National GIS Quality Standards, National GIS Metadata Standard, National GIS Applications and Services Standard, National GIS Portal Security Standard) and National GIS Foundation Dataset standards(with examples of the proto-type foundation dataset)
