Duties
Ensure the optimisation of crime scene attendance
Processing, gathering and collection of physical evidence through fingerprint related and other specialized techniques
Submission and giving of evidence in the court of law as required by the Department of Justice and the SAPS
Scientifically investigating and processing crime scenes through specialized investigation methods by utilizing expert knowledge and specialised equipment
Attend, extract and link potential evidence for serious crime scenes, TRIO crime scenes; and crimes against women and children
Administer optimal compilation and fast tracking of quality products
Aid all subcomponents within SAPS, including the Crime Intelligent Unit and Organised Crime gather, capture and document evidence where financially motivated operations and busts are concerned such as fraud cases, money laundering, armed robbery, rhino poaching and all other TRIO cases.
Administration duties including daily research and presentations on all amended procedures, policies and SOPs that guides how investigations should be conducted
Daily discussions of crime stats, office stats, individual stats and potential crime incidents and their possible solutions thereof
