I provided full Time care for this family during the summer of 2016. 50 hours a week. Now I am their morning nanny. I wake them up and get the ready for school, feed them break fast and then drop them off at school around 7:30 am. I have regularly traveled with the family to help with vacation activities and childcare. They were in the transition of moving to Torrance from up north, we have taken many trips back and forth since I have been with them. I safely transport children to school, medical appointments and extra-curricular activities. Made healthy snacks and meals for 2 children. I established and maintained a safe play environment for the children.I also closely monitored children's play activities to verify safety. I have worked part time and on call for them whenever they needed. There were months when I would work 5 days a week and then there were months where I would only work 2 date nights. I transported children from school, medical appointments and extra-curricular activities engaging in after-school activities including sport practice and homework. The older boy had high functioning autism which made it hard for him to concentrate while trying to do homework or other activities. I was a babysitter for this family on date nights and some overnights when they needed. I started when their son was 4 months old. The mother is a nurse who works 12 hour over night shifts and the father travels for work a lot. When their schedules would not work they would call me and I would watch their son for a total of 14 hours over night. The child would need fed every three hours. I fed, bathed, burned and changed him throughout the night. I still do it every once in a while.

For this family I started out as a Nanny that had set hours for the week ranging from 15-20 hours per week. Also the mother was a Psychiatrists, I worked in her office helping with filing papers and ordering supplies. I transported children from to school, activities and appointments. I also made healthy snacks and meals for children. I tried to communicate with parents about daily activities and behaviors. I also helped children complete homework assignments and school projects.
