DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONAL FINANCE & SPECIAL PROJECTS

(2015 May 2016)

GLOBAL GROUP CONTROLLER (2011 2014)

Directed a Global finance team of 70 encompassing Controllership, Business Operations, Financial Planning

& Analysis, and Financial Reporting supporting the DS EVP and MPTs Senior Leadership.

Selected achievements:

1. Relocated a business unit from the US with annual sales of $1.2 billion, double digit annual losses,

and a workforce of 2800 employees to Mexico. Currently, the operation in Mexico has achieved and

is sustaining double digit profits and employs 1300 employees and is undergoing a second wave of

expansion with the addition of a new facility which would accommodate newly awarded business for

the NAFTA region.

2. Participated in establishing a business case and ultimate breakthrough in the award of a major

program for China. The award led to the start-up of a greenfield facility in China and established

our footprint in China for the anticipated growth in the region. The facility is currently in ramp-up

mode and will be in a breakeven position by the end of its second year of operation. Full production

will be reached in 2016 at which time the expectation and business plan will also contribute double

digit profitability to the Groups overall financial performance.

3. Drove increased profitability in our EU operation from single digits to double digit profits by

focusing on operational improvements by increasing operational efficiency and availability, reducing

costs and capitalize on opportunities and synergies by understanding our breakeven point and

performing a deep dive in getting an understanding of the overall cost structure.

4. Developed high performance finance team to drive disciplined growth and strengthen operational

controlling activities, including KMIs, to provide the leadership the tools to control, monitor and

react, proactively, to sudden changes to economic and operational conditions impacting profitability.

PLANT CONTROLLER (2006 2010)

Led central reporting activities while supporting plant GM, DS Group EVP and MPT VP-Finance. Provided

for plants operational and financial reporting activities, including development of the manufacturing operating

budgets, capital budget, monthly and quarterly operational forecasts, quarterly financial reviews, and annual

SOX audit and internal/external financial audits.

Selected achievements:

1. Supported the successful launch of the GMT 900 Transfer Case Program, the largest transfer case

program ever awarded

2. Assisted a team of SAP consultants in the successful system implementation and launch of the

divisions ERP/MRP system - SAP.

3. Initiated and implemented reporting requirements and internal control procedures, including the

plants standard costing system, departmental policies, procedures and instructions in conjunction

with head office standard policies and procedures.

BUSINESS MANAGER / PLANT CONTROLLER

Responsible for the plants operational and financial activity, including developing the Manufacturing

Operating Budgets, Capital Appropriation Activity, Inventory and SOX compliance, supporting the plant GM

and Groups VP-Finance.

Selected achievements:

1. Negotiated a three year contract with MOPAR in providing exclusive customization services for the

South East Michigan region. Potential sales estimated at $80 - $100 million dollars for the duration

of the contract.

2. Led our division in attaining our goals for the Winning Team Cost Reduction Program. We were able

to exceed our targets and were presented with Decomas Diamond and Presidents Award. Part of this

challenge was to negotiate our divisions first Asian contract which totaled savings in excess of $3

million dollars.
