Group.

. Developed equipment cleaning and leak testing procedure.

. Communicated with engineering groups to design and

install safety alarms, draft gauges, and equipment

labels.

. Performed calculations for future improvements that

should be looked at, including condenser drain line

sloping and P&ID updates.

January 2016 - May 2016: Life Cycle Assessment

. Published technical reports covering five Eastman

products, which were shared company wide and presented

to potential and current customers.

. Researched and presented on the effects of a third-party

power company on Eastman's utility carbon footprint.

. Collaborated with engineers and utility division workers

on three other Eastman processes. The findings were

distributed over the Summer to different production

areas.

May 2015 - July 2015: Global Environmental Affairs

. Worked with health, safety, and environmental management

teams at 13 Eastman sites to standardize the EPA's Leak

Detection and Repair (LDAR) program for local facility.

. Performed a greenhouse gas migration control

demonstration for the Eastman Chemical Co. landfill in

Kingsport, TN.

. Worked alongside process engineers in the safe-launch of a

new automotive door and instrument panel assembly line.

. Worked with the maintenance technician in charge of the

molding and forming lines for two separate car door

interior operations.

. Helped in the optimization of the compression molding and

vacuum forming processes, including upstream material

handling and downstream painting.
