Graduate Research Assistant

Assist Associate Provost of the Northern Campuses and Educational Leadership Department Chair, in the College of Education Jupiter campus. Was a strategic part of the research team that completed a longitudinal mixed method, multi-person case study on Florida teacher retention throughout the Broward, West Palm Beach, and Saint Lucie counties.

Extended assistantship: Work directly for the Charles Stewart Mott Eminent Scholar of Community Education Eminent Scholar, Dr. Valerie Bryan, to create marketing pieces related to community education, to maintain scholarly literature matrices for an international journal edited by Dr. Bryan, and to assist in procuring grant opportunities. Furthermore, worked on various research projects, completed many peer review professional writing projects on numerous topics, and present and publish at the international, national, and state level.

In addition, I also presided over the specific technological development proficiencies for the graduates’ students within the department, via managing an online certificate. Through this extended assistantship I supervised and completed the grading, enrollment, and management of the Blackboard site for the Educational Leadership and Research Methodology’s department Technology Proficiency Assessment. Further, I edited dissertations for the Adult and Community Education faculty and completed research writing with the department’s faculty.
