Serving as IT Project Manager for NE Release Management/Config. Management of ACES and CHIPS platforms at Wellpoint Inc. Working closely with the Wellpoint IT managers, Production Support Managers and Enterprise Release Managers on the release planning, Control & Execution, Cross dependencies and Implementation Planning. This team provides a repeatable process for planning, building, deploying and monitoring system changes and enhancements into the production environment

Responsibilities:

Manage and lead the monthly scheduled releases and weekly off-cycle releases working closely with the Business Release Manages, Wellpoint IT managers, Wellpoint IT SMEs, Delivery team, Testing team and Vendor teams

Address issues that release components are experiencing – inability to meet release milestones, overlap with other components or off cycle releases, projects needing to back out before or after release

Work with WellPoint IT Project Managers to prepare release plans for all products and application roll out for Claims work stream. This involves several products from different vendors

Resolve Implementation issues by bringing various teams together such as Project Business Sponsor, Wellpoint Claims Delivery and multiple vendor teams. Work closely with the Wellpoint IT SME's and Vendor teams (IBM, CTS, Accenture & UST Global) to understand and assess the change proposals as part of change management on weekly basis

The mainframe user interface provides the ability to search for the images and view the images on the image viewer, IWPM and e-Viewer; both are client based IBM proprietary product that must be used for viewing images from ImagePlus.
