Human Resources Director

Administered a temporary service personnel program which involved 40% of the secretarial and hourly staff on site while reducing direct labor cost and turnover rates by as much as 50%.

Established and administered several service and incentive award programs for the employee’s.

Created job descriptions for all positions within the company.

Developed a Secretarial Training program which successfully standardized procedures and enhanced office work flow.

Developed a safety manual and initiated OSHA training which reduced on the job injuries by 55% and reduced OSHA non compliance warnings by 75%.

Assisted in evaluating and scheduling all outside executive training programs.

Established an ESOP program (Employee Stock Ownership Program).

Controller

Took over having all aspects of both HR and Accounting report directly to me.

Upgraded the accounting software by converting from Jobplus software package to Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics.

Directed and oversaw all aspects of the account receivable billing and posting of checks for payments of those invoices

Directed all aspects of the account payables from approval for payment to the actual payment of those invoices.

Made sure that all monthly financial information was ready for the CFO and the CPA so that monthly financials were complete.

Made sure all HR and payroll policies and procedures were being maintained and followed.

Evaluated and shopped at each renewal time all aspects of the companies insurances which included General Liabilities, Bonds, Auto, Workers Compensation, Health, Dental, Vision as well as the employee paid voluntary and supplemental coverage’s.

Human Resources & Payroll Manager

Designed new employee orientation package and established and facilitated all new employee activities and sessions, which provides continuity in all company and benefit information presented verbally and in writing.

Established a Drug Free Workplace program which allowed worker compensation and safety credits through our insurance carriers.

Established and maintained the first employee handbook.

Researched and prepared all necessary paperwork and filings to implement a conversion from a profit sharing plan to a 401(k) plan with a match to better help the employee’ meet their retirement needs.

Researched and implemented a flex benefits program under a section125 pre-tax plan, which allowed employees to design their own benefits packages, resulting in a higher employee satisfaction.
