Travelers Aid of Georgia /United Way 3/2006 - 08/2008 Responsibilities include working directly with individuals and families who are homeless in the metro Atlanta area. Work in conjunction with United Way with the Homeless Coalition. Identify families from surrounding shelters, and other homeless agencies to identify families who may qualify for the Housing First Program. Interviewing potential men and women who were interested in the Housing First Program which allowed single men and women with children to live in apartments fully paid for by grants from the homeless coalition for one year.
