ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Managed $1.6M budget construction and training project under budget and on time. The construction provided a training area, used for twenty-six training events and developed for training of over 13,000 personnel. Purpose of training was to change the soldier’s behaviors in preparation for overseas environment. Led twenty employees to accomplish this task.

Accomplished all goals as Chief Logistics Manager, during 2010 annual audit in all areas. Commendable rating in Transportation - improved significantly since 2009. Other areas included Supply Management, Food Service, Soldier Housing, Transportation, Shipping and Driver’s Training. Organizations mission was to train staffs primarily with Simulations Training. Each training event was treated as its own project as part of an overall program to train the force.

Developed fabrication techniques for an aluminum-lithium alloy as part of a project to make the Space Shuttle lighter. Created test plans, designed experiments and optimized techniques to maximize robustness of the alloy.

Facilitated the reorganization and training of seven Government Purchase Card (GPC) representatives throughout the 500+ man unit. In 2010, the team had increased from five to eleven card-holders and billing officials and had increased efficiency, spending $25K per quarter on the GPC program. The increase in trained card-holders was reason for increased efficiency. ACCOMPLISHMENTS (CONT)

Provided metallurgical consulting services to customers in various metalworking industries. Consulting included recommendations in written reports for customers to improve manufacturing processes and determine causes of failure for equipment in the field.

Part of a Quality decision making team regarding quality of incoming material through finished product in manufacturing and welding. Tests were both self-directed and through the direction of technicians in manufacturing and laboratory settings. WORK EXPERIENCE
