HIGH-IMPACT CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Drove revenue, market share and profit growth for iDonate as Chief Technology Officer: Developed product, platform and online payments infrastructure in 2012 with annual donations to nonprofits of $0 to four consecutive years of 100% GMV growth..

Led the effort to develop design for iDonate’s UI, applied for and received a US Design Patent for design of display screen for graphical user interface to simplify and expedite online donations via iDonate. Patent number: US D750,117 S; granted: 02/23/2016; inventors: Steven Kravit, Plano, TX and Raymond J. Gary, Dallas, TX.

Planned, orchestrated and executed on iDonate’s Cloud Platform and outsourced Software Development Team, which enabled SaaS invoicing to nonprofits. Maximized efficiency by creating product, infrastructure and platform in the Cloud. This method permitted efficient customer service with only two-three Customer Service Reps to service all 700 clients, saving at least $600K per year in payroll, overtime, payroll taxes and benefits vs. a normal customer service team.

Saved $000,000’s in software licensing, PCs, utilities and commercial office space during development phase by outsourcing software development. We started with two Software Developers and later ramped up to six. Excelled in alignment, collaboration and productivity by selecting/using best of breed outsourcing tools and open source software stack – Python, Postgress, Angular, Slack, Aha and Jira.

Overcame six daunting challenges during product development – Limited budget, PCI compliance, PCI compliance costs and a streamlined user interface that would handle all credit/debit cards, eChecks, donations of noncash assets and all proprietary merchant gateways by researching, pioneering and innovating. Identified an ideal combination of vendors with integrity, low-nonprofit rates and best of breed products to facilitate our online-donation systems. Maximized ROI for clients further by establishing a liquidation network for all noncash assets to complete the iDonate SaaS platform.

Directed iDonate’s Mobile Phone App Development Project, which required universal compatibility for iPhones, Android Phones, Wireless Mobile Devices and HTML5. Achieved mission of universal compatibility, embedded system in clients’ websites and streamlined giving in under a minute. Completed project on time and within budget with four Software Developers using Agile Method.

Cyber Security Leadership: Zero penetrations by hackers in last four years. Deployed state-of-the-art security, firewalls and executed all transactions via merchants’ PCI compliant gateway to outsource the burden of responsibility for Cyber Security when faced with the consistent threat of hackers stealing clients’ credit card info or iDonate’s proprietary code/technology.

HIGH-IMPACT CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS CONTINUED

Total Quality Management – Completed the iDonate Internet Application and Mobile Phone/Device App Development Projects with a zero defect rate (no bugs) thanks to a relentless pursuit of excellence. This was vital, because nonprofits are typically not tech savvy and their donors on Internet have limited or no tolerance for errors in the donation process. We always focus on our nonprofit clients’ needs first, just as they focus on their donors first.

Planned, negotiated and executed on iDonate’s Noncash Donation Liquidation Network Project as Chief Technology Officer. Completed project on time and within budget by capitalizing on Liquidation expertise gained as C0O of Gordon Brothers Group to facilitate over $1 million in noncash donations in 2016. This was especially noteworthy because of the wide variety of noncash assets received – Gold, silver, stock certificates, jewelry, vehicles, boats, antiques, furniture, stamps, rare coins, real property, electronic equipment etc.

Designed, developed and delivered iDonate’s SMS giving platform in 90 days.

Established Voiceware LLC, a new business offering VOIP phone systems, service and managed IT services for Microsoft software in 2007. Grew reseller revenues from zero to $400,000 annually by saving clients tens of thousands of dollars on long distance charges, phone systems, services, maintenance and IT services via outsourcing.

Presented, negotiated and closed a $5.0M contract to have Direct Partner’s product in US Walmart stores as President of Direct Partners LLC in 2005. Directed constant research and development efforts as well as multiple revenue streams to generate a peak annual revenue of $7,000,000 in 2005.

Designed, developed, tested and continuously improved proprietary ERP software system, NextGem to streamline business operations, track KPIs and facilitate better executive decision making.

Led Voiceware LLC & Direct Partners through the Financial Crisis in 2008 and the Great Recession in 2009-2011 when competitors were failing. Minimized payroll, maximized productivity, diversified B2B offerings via R&D and continued to offer lasting and significant value with VOIP services, phone systems and managed IT Services.
