As part of English Literature, my analysis of the play Macbeth was recommended to the
Abu Dhabi Education Council as a testimony of the schools high standards of learning.
Staff writer for school newspaper and yearbook
Founding member of the schools drama and debating clubs. Acted in plays like
Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet. Member of a panel of judges for intra-school debating
competitions.
Attended Global Issues Network Conference (GIN13) conducted by New York
University Abu Dhabi, received fee waiver due to an application essay.
Founding member of the Environment Club. Finished in the top 5 in a story writing
competition organized by the Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi.
Charter member of the Model UN club (Year 8), won the Best Position Paper award at
DIAMUN10. Sponsored by the Arab Youth Venture Foundation for Harvard MUN 2011
and was acknowledged as the Most Promising Delegate at PAMUN11 conducted by
the American School of Paris at UNESCO Headquarters (Paris). Organized the schools
first inter school Model UN conference (CAMUN12) as the Deputy Secretary-General
and designed the CAMUN website. Secretary-General of CAMUN13, which received
appreciation from the U.A.E. Resident Coordinator of the United Nations. Invited by
AlAin Juniors School to mentor their Model UN program (2014).
Founding member of the Operation Smile club and also helped establish the foundations
U.A.E. chapter. Member of the first U.A.E. delegation at the International Student
Cultural Exchange Program in Beijing (ISCE 2011). Completed the 10km ADNIC YAS
Run in support of Operation Smile (2012).
An active member of the Face to Faith, a school program of the Tony Blair Faith
Foundation.
Member of the schools cricket (2010-2012) and soccer (2011-2014) varsity teams.
Created a working model of an electromagnetic wind turbine for an Arab Youth Venture
Foundation science exhibition in 2012 (Top 5 finish).
Worked on model of a solar powered spaceship as part of the Abu Dhabi Science
Exhibition and finished in third place (2013).
