Summary:

I am an office professional with sixteen years' experience and progressive responsibilities in office management. Solid customer service and organizational skills, extensive knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, shipping and receiving as well as accounts receivable. I have 6+ years using Excel and Word Pro. I also have three years’ experience in safety as well as two years assisting Quality Control.

Training:

Have completed training with certificates: OSHA 10, OSHA Fire Watch, OSHA Oxy Acetylene Cutting & Burning. I have also completed Power Safe training for Southern Company (Georgia Power). I am also a certified home inspector.

Experience:

FSE Energy (June 2013 – November 2016)

Site Admin/Office Manager: Construction Job – Time Keeper, maintained accurate payroll records daily which included each separate job code and submitted them to corporate office, as well as reported weekly per diem information to corporate office. Keep daily spread sheet on total hours spent on each job. I billed the client for T&M work, with back up information to verify billing. Keep budget information on all expenses for Site Manager, this report was given to the CEO. I maintained daily manpower reports and time for sub-contractors. Assisted QA/QC for startup and commissioning. Expediting purchase orders for office supplies, materials, equipment, tool room and janitorial needs, after receiving a written quote. I approved the invoices for accounts payable. I input all safety information into the computer. I provided various office duties such as faxing, scanning, answering phone, filling, scheduling appointments. I keep all employee records, including new hire packets, drug screen information, as well as keep spread sheet on employee attendance. I reported directly to the Site Manager. I worked closely with the General Foreman to ensure all information was accurate.

Summit Industrial Construction (June 2012 - June 2013)

Field/Safety Clerk/Assistant Document Control: Construction Job- Maintain electronic safety records, including all employees certificates and training, as well as all inspections which included all motorized equipment, tools, harness & lanyards, fire extinguishers, TSA's, etc. Worked closely with the job foremen and superintendent to ensure the operators had been properly trained for the equipment that they operate. I maintained electronic records for Quality Control. I worked closely with Field Engineer, printing drawings and specifications as they were released, keepings logs to keep the client up to date on released information.

Southern Company-Labor Broker (June 2011 - June 2012)

Office/Safety Clerk: Construction Job- Hired on through Laborer Union 515 as a clerk for the Safety Department. I worked for Spartan Constructors, as well as Day & Zimmerman on this job. Job was located at Georgia Power, Plant McDonough. I was responsible for compiling and maintaining records for the safety department, providing a wide variety of clerical duties and utilizing knowledge of systems procedures, including maintenance of computer-based database of employee drug screens, power safe, training and certificates, weekly and monthly inspections on all equipment. Also responsible for maintaining all safety supply ordering, stocking and recording the safety equipment requisitions. I maintained close working relationship with safety to meet Southern Company's requirements.

Watkins Marketing & Associates, Inc. (March 2006 - December 2010)

Customer Service: Answered all incoming calls, processing customer orders for tank loads of chemicals, communicating the orders with the terminals, faxing the C of A and B.O.L. to customer and prepared the paperwork for further processing. I used Microsoft Word and Excel.

Cowell Construction (June 2000 - December 2005)

Office Assistant: One girl office, organized office and implemented filling system, as well as managed and was responsible for all day to day operations. Duties included accounts receivable and payable, collections, invoicing and filling. I used Quicken Professional as office system. Thompson Hayward Chemical Company (March 1985 - June 2000)

Office Manager and Purchasing Coordinator: Managed day to day operations of branch office, including accounts payable and receivable. I purchased chemicals for 3 consignment warehouses and six out of state branches. Maintained inventory levels in accordance with established stock points. I procured trucks for over the road shipments. Was Document Control Coordinator for ISO 9000, was involved in all phases from starting ISO and finally passing and getting ISO certification.

Customer Service: I worked as customer service representative for 7 years before being promoted to office manager.
