Study of parameters that can be controlled and modified to improve the efficiency of a Gas Turbine thereby increasing the profitability and productivity was the main idea. A Turbine Blade with holes inclined at 300 was modelled using SolidWorks

The Density Ratio of the coolant air to the mainstream was varied from 1.2 – 2.0 as well as the Velocity Ratio was varied from 0.208 to 0.83 to understand the significance of temperature reduction on the wall of the blade

Ansys CFX was used to calculate the Temperature Distribution along the centerline and optimum value of Blowing Ratio was calculated using Matlab and was 1.65

DESIGN & FABRICATION OF ORANGE FRUIT PEELER (MINI- PROJECT) Aug 14 – Nov 14

Aim of this project was to explore the possibility of automated systems for peeling of orange fruits and reduce time, effort and prevent any contamination issues, thus reducing the overall production costs and ensuring overall hygiene

A Prototype was designed using a 0.25 HP AC Motor, Set of Gears and a peeling blade that mimics the motion of a lathe using Quick Return Motion Mechanism
