OS installation, configuration and introduction of Centos 6.4, RHEL, Solaris 10 servers to a network. Use interactive as well as advance installation methods such as Kickstart and Jumpstart to introduce the servers to the network, integrating new hardware into the environment.

Hardening and Patching of Centos, RHEL and Solaris servers Hardening, Patching Unix servers using 10 –Recommended patch package and upgrade (release), on standalone servers (using single user mode), and on production servers (using live upgrade),

Set-up, configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NFS, CIFS, and Samba servers in a multiplatform LAN Monitoring

Execute log management on UNIX and Windows servers, including processes, crash and swap management, with password recovery and performance tuning such as increasing virtual memory, including SWAP, to increase OS speed.

Use bash shell scripting to schedule and automate processes including full and incremental backups, using tar, crontab, ufsdump and snapshots; migrating and enlarging file systems on Solaris 10 and Linux.

Perform multiplatform volume management using LVM and SVM volume manager. Installed and configured a LAN wide NAS (Free NAS) for creating LUNs also attached to Windows 2008 servers and to Solaris 10 using iSCSi.
