Final Year Project Profile

• Optimization of Desorption Hydrolyzation Loop for the Recovery of Ammonia in Urea Plant Project includes the calculation of material balance around Desorber Hydrolyzer Column. Recovery of ammonia consist of Desorption Hydrolyzation section where we have to optimize plant by increasing ammonia recovery to design desorber section by using Aspen HYSYS, to recover ammonia from the waste condensate, to enhance the efficiency of desorber and design reboiler on HYSYS so that the weeping problem in the desorption section is solved. We use MS Excel for design calculations. Useful in doing the material balance calculations in stream wise across different sections like reactor, columns, strippers, etc. After that, use HYSYS to show all drawings of Desorber Hydrolyser Column. Our results obtained from simulations, prefeasibility & profitability analysis is very much satisfactory and very close to the proposed objective. Internships

During this 2 weeks training, I worked on different manufacturing process in Chemical Pilot Plant, Fuel Research Centre, Tenekil Pesticides Manufacturing Plant and Fish Protein Concentration Plant. I also prepared an individual presentation on Fish Protein Concentration Plant (FPCP)

• Clariant Chemical Pakistan Private Limited (6 weeks) (Nov 2014) Six Weeks Training (Lab Work) at Clariant Pakistan (Archroma) as a Internee in the entire wet processing on lab scale

• General Tyre and Rubber Company Ltd (2 weeks) (July 2015) Internship at Department of Compounding. During Internship, I have learned about Tyre Technology, Tyre Engineering, Compounding of Tyre, Processes and Operations of Tyre manufacturing

• Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qaism Limited (2 Days) (May 2016) Discuss the functioning of Ammonia plant and Urea plant. Focused mainly on types of equipment and process and design flow. (For Final Year Project)
