Autonomous Racing Car with Arduino

• Designed a small racing car with inductor and optical sensors which could trace a wire/white track

• Assembled electrical components and implemented voltage converting module to meet different voltage requirements to ensure the whole car worked smoothly

• Executed PID control algorithm to adjust the speed and direction to avoid running away from the track

• Applied Wi-Fi module to achieve two microcontrollers’ communication, monitoring car’s speed and direction Embedded Greenhouse Monitoring Project

• Developed an intelligent greenhouse monitoring system on MSP430 microcontroller, which could trigger humidifier, lights, fans to made responses based on various environmental factors

• Applied wireless communication to transmit greenhouse environmental conditions to remote office and displayed on a LabVIEW visualization program

• Transmitted various environmental factors by CAN protocol to guarantee the reliability of data transmission Intelligent Personalized Route Prediction (Funded by Ford Motor Company)

• Designed an online-learning system that can learn the driver’s personal driving pattern and route choice by making analysis of driver’s historical trip data
