Supervised a team of 5 Quality Engineers, 2 Project Engineers, and 16 hourly employees in a fast-paced Tier 2 automotive environment. Plant shipped over 2.7 million pieces per month using Just-in-Time (Lean) Manufacturing System, with over $160 Million in sales annually. Responsible for reviewing and analyzing all defect data as well as creating and implementing action plans to reduce these defects. Champion of resolving issues with a base of 47 suppliers. Oversee launches of all new product, including all APQP (Advanced product quality planning). Successfully led plant in transition from QS-9000 to TS-16949.
