Duties

• Follow AFI 21-102 for essential guidance and procedures for safely and effectively maintaining, servicing, and repairing aircraft and support equipment

• Plan and laid out work from blueprint, sketches, drawings, and work orders

• Evaluate structural damage to C-130 Center Wing Flap

• Devise and calculate patterns for items to be repaired or modified and determined the material, tools, and equipment needed to accomplish the task

• Determine the type and extent of the repairs needed to restore the aircraft component to original strength

• Use and maintained tools daily staying in compliance with all tool control regulations

• Make general repairs by manufacturing and installing new parts and reinforcing, patching, and replacing defective parts

• Use Technical Orders, process orders, job guides, WCD’s, 2O2’s, blueprints drawings every day for regulatory guidance

• Use the 6s principles daily to ensure that the work area is clean and organized

• Assemble all required blueprints, Technical Orders, and technical data to ensure quality work according to Technical Orders standards

• Research Technical Orders in order to make sure difficult task are done in the most efficient manner while maintaining Air Force standards
