ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Ping-Pong Ball Launcher (BMEN 1208: Introduction to Biomedical Engineering) Jan 2016 - May 2016
●Worked alongside fellow engineering students to create a ping-pong ball launcher. This project included preliminary and final design drafting. Responsibilities included bill of materials, wiring schematic and ballistics report of the device.
●The backbone of our design was tested through Matlab and MSP430 Energia codes, allowing for modeling to create a successful device. Design drafts through Solidworks to create CAD models, subsequently 3D printed and assembled.
●The device was completed within the given timeline, running successfully with 96% target accuracy.

●This is an organization that advocates the rights of women, men and children and speaks out against domestic violence and abuse.
●As treasure I collaborated on organized events and fundraisers, measured the efficacy of our programs, and kept our books balanced. Grew the program budget over 100% - creating more opportunities to increase awareness and conduct seminars.

●Compassion is an organization in Kenya that takes care of children who have been directly impacted by HIV/AIDS. The organization gets the kids together every week to keep up with their health, ensuring they have food and keep up academic performance.
●Volunteered to assist students with course work and visited the schools that the children attended to make sure certify they had their fees paid to maintain attendance.
