AMERICAN FAMILY CARE, 12/2012 - 1/2014

Clinic Manager; Management of a busy urgent care/primary care clinic with a very high occupational medicine volume. Supervised the daily operations of the clinic and staff, including the controlling of inventory, payroll, and banking deposits, resolution of insurance, billing, and chart auditing issues, and resolution of complaints and disputes. Hired, evaluated, and terminated employees. Promoted the clinic and assisted on the floor as needed. I requested to step down and return to radiology.

I become registered in MRI and left to take a job in that modality.

Maintained company’s internal pricing and deal files and served as program administrator for Goldmine database. Organized and managed product expositions and involvement in trade shows. Novacopy made an acquisition and doubled in size; I was replaced.

Organized and managed company’s involvement in trade shows, and worked shows as company representative. I was laid off when FAES folded.

I was released when I could not, in principle, commit to long-term employment after finishing my MBA, as the TMA was not reimbursing me for it.
