Held critical responsibilities, including experience in a non-linear workstation, setting up and monitoring regional playlist for main Regional Sports Networks and Alternate RSN cover-up lists for broadcast air, ensuring all commercial spots and all scheduled programming were available for air, as well as set up and operated playlist for live high school, college, and professional product for main regional sports networks, as well as Alternate Split. Responsibilities included ensuring all routing points for live feed or simulcast were set up and routed correctly. Ensured all communication lines latched correctly for studio or on-site production truck and that production truck was connected to Quick Connect Telephone (QCT) line in the event production audio was lost during live event. Delivered correct communication lines that were latched correctly for simulcast with other on-air networks and ensured button switches and switching times for all buttons associated with regional network or alternate were correct and pulling the correct viewing audiences, as well sending same audiences back to correct networks at the end of the regional split. Insured all OCC’ed (open/cut/closed) programs had clean cut-ins when joining programs already in progress. Also, was responsible for having fill logs for alternate programming available in the event of unexpected emergency situations to include events such as weather delays, power outages, unexpected injury delays, or any delays affecting live programming for an extended length of time.
