Responsible for recuperating collections accounts, negotiating with clients, and converting these clients into mortgage borrowers.

Closed an average of 5 to 7 loans per month in subprime products.

Generated loans through leads given by the company.

Generated loans through networking relationships with real estate agents and former clients.

Accountable for staying informed on the variety of loan types available.

Responsible for personally generating all loans closed.

Analyze mortgage file, evaluate borrower's financials, manually calculating rate of pay, review bank statements, tax returns and perform loan decisions and guidelines keeping in compliance with all company policy and procedures.

Responsible for ordering appraisals, title commitments, homeowners insurance, flood insurance, credit reports, verifications of employment and deposits, etc.

Determine the value of each property by means of property reports and appraisals.

Review credit report to determine customer s credit worthiness, gather pertinent information to make a sound financial decision

Data Entry to keep information current for investor and management reporting.

Maintained several reports to keep current such as tracking report, status reports, and projections.

Notify originator and applicant of credit decision within regulatory time frames.

Accurately document file and reviewing final conditions for compliance.

Track all required documentation to assure processing timeframes are being met and update system with statuses.

Knowledgeable of principle practices and regulations applicable to mortgage lending.

Work with customer, client and closing agent to resolve questions and/or problems.

Submit loan for approval once all conditions had been met.

Assure documents are delivered to the Closing Department in a timely manner.

Knowledge of first mortgage processing, automated underwriting background.

Gather credit documentation from the customer and third party vendors necessary to support the loan approval decision validating and verifying loan application information supporting income, asset, and liability.
