MadHatter’s Tea, LLC was a wholesale loose leaf tea buiness that catered to upscale restuarants, spas and chiropractic offices in the Northern Virginia area. Madhatter’s was the only locally owened wholesale loose leaf tea distributor in the area. By close of business, restaurant clients and spas represented 95% of gross sales totalling $68,000 anually. While the business was growing, further capital was needed to develop into the next phase of advancement which was not available at the time.

During the time when my children were young, I was a stay at home mom and school volunteer. My activities during those
years' consisted of the following:
Program Leader for GRACE art in the schools for Wolftrap Elementary.
This position consisted of monthly volunteer art programs for the each classroom for the entire school. The program leader was responsible for designing art projects for grades K-6, instructing volunteers on implementing the art projects in the classrooms and coordinating volunteers with teacher schedules for art presentations in class as well as procuring materials for all classes.
