In 1990 I went to work for Quality Rolls where I started as a laborer and

in a short time was asked if I would be interested in on the job training

as a machinist. I agreed and I am very glad I did as it is a skill that has

served me well over the years.

While working nights with QR I went to gunsmith school during the day and

upon graduating in 2003 went to work for Gander Mountain as a gunsmith

where I took a failing shop in West Mifflin, PA .and made it one of the

most productive in the company. In 2003 GM opened their first big box store

and I was asked to relocate and run the gunsmith shop. I agreed and

relocated to Rochester NY.

I received awards for perfect attendance with QR

I have the ability to operate manual lathes and mills from Bridgeports to

6" spindal horizontal mill

I have the ability to operate manual lathes from 36" Leblonde to 9"

southbend tool room lathe

I have the ability to program and operate G code cnc mills with Fanuc

controllers

Own my tools and measuring tools needed and can read blueprints

Certified overhead crane operator with radio control box and jib cranes
