Senior Vice President of Finance North America Administration & Procurement

Promoted to this newly-created position to define, implement, and manage all procurement initiatives across North

America with full accountability for the financial performance of the administration and shared services functions,

processes, financials, and the long-term strategic direction for financial policies and best practices.

Established a regional infrastructure for the administrative and services functions spanning budgets, forecasts,

shared financial expenses, operating/capital expenditure budgets and assets across the U.S. and Canada.

Improvements in processes and operating efficiencies saved the company over $1.2M.

Built the organizational structure and the team from the ground up, implementing consistent processes,

vendors, real estate requirements, and resource requirements across the 25 individual offices.

Spearheaded the North America corporate insurance/risk management program that put in place policies

Vice President & U.S. Controller

Managed all U.S. Controller functions with responsibilities that spanned policy development and execution of internal

controls as well as providing oversight of U.S. general and project accounting support requirements. In addition to the

accounting operations, direct responsibilities included treasury, federal and state tax compliance, payroll, accounts

payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, financial consolidations, financial reporting, audit, and compliance.

Consolidated all accounting activities from four locations down to a single, centralized organization. Built and

managed the team and infrastructure that established a team of accounting professionals with clear and

documented responsibilities and objectives.

Created and implemented the plan for the U.S. Accounting Center and all related processes, procedures, and

closing/reporting schedules resulting in a 92% improvement in the companys international rankings.

Oversaw and led cash management, global inter-company clearing, internal processes, controls, and systems

Director of Accounting & Financial Operations

Expanded on previous role as Director of Sales Compensation and Analysis to build and strengthen the accounting

organization and provide leadership and direction for all of the companys accounting operations, sales planning and

compensation, and financial reporting/closing activities.

One of six individuals who led the transition of the former division of Dun & Bradstreet into an independent

public company with a newly-created corporate infrastructure.

Led the finance/accounting initiative for the planning and structuring of the spin-off that included the

implementation of a new suite of financial systems (Oracle Financials) and generated $1M in annual savings by

eliminating dependency on D&B for services.

Established and administered internal controls and company-wide financial policies and procedures. Acted as the

finance lead on the companys Sarbanes-Oxley compliance initiative, and served as a member of the companys

quarterly operational review team.

Performed financial due diligence and provided support to all other functional areas during the R.H. Donnelley

$2.2B acquisition of Sprint Publishing and Advertising (SPA).

Managed all activities of the companys independent auditors on quarterly reviews, and annual audits for

internal processes, reports, transactions, and results.

directories across 12 states and calculated sales payroll, compensation plans, and annual bonus amounts.

Led the design and implementation of a new automated sales compensation system with zero impact to ongoing

sales activity or compensation during the system rollout.
