Responsible for every aspect of the club’s revenue and service goals. Hire and motivate, train and lead the sales force to meet or exceed monthly objectives. Train and manage department managers to success in Personal Training, Tennis, Aquatics, Fencing, Group Fitness, Hospitality, Kids, Club, Spa Services and Pilates. 2007- 2013: Owner/Operator Fitness19 Atlanta GA.
Opened and operated a new Fitness19 location in Marietta, Georgia.
Took a new business from pre-sale to a profitable business with great focus on revenue generation and customer service and retention.
Completed lease negotiations on both the building and all of the equipment.
Set up and implemented all marketing plans. This included at least two mail drops per month, business to business marketing, residential, churches and schools just to name a few. These efforts allowed me to meet and exceed the goal of 250 guests per month.
Responsible for training all staff on sales, customer service and day to day operations. This included role playing on customer tours, rapport building, overcoming objections, follow up on both guests and telephone inquiries and closing skills. This was completed with a strong emphasis on customer goals, setting a value for the product and a sense of urgency to buy. Hired and trained a separate staff of personal trainers. This included sales, goal setting, sales funnel management and retention.
2002 – 2006: Regional Market Sales Manager, BellSouth Long Distance Atlanta GA.
Assisted in the largest and greatest revenue generated new product launch in BellSouth’s history. Targeted all Fortune 500 Companies obtaining a 20 million dollar annual objective. I effectively managed five (5) National Account Sales Teams. Duties included, but were not limited to: management of budget and expenses, staffing, annual reviews and assessment of promotions and annual raises. Consistent education of new products, features and procedures to ensure the sales force had the most current information to be successful. In addition, my duties included management of all escalations with BellSouth Long Distance including installations, expedites, pricing requests, Special Customer Arrangements etc.
2000 – 2002: National Sales Manager BellSouth Long Distance Wholesale Services Atlanta GA.
Responsibilities included management of all 214 carriers on the west coast. Attended all carrier trade shows to network and generate new business. Personally managed a 10+ million dollar objective and gained incredible experience dealing with carriers on the wholesale level. Selling to top executives or the company President was an everyday occurrence. In addition, I had to manage critical installation dates and coordinate tie down information between carriers. Duties also included budget and expense management.
1998 – 2000: National Account Executive, Out of Region National Accounts BellSouth Atlanta GA.
Managed several Fortune 500 out of region accounts. Managed all natural disasters for a major insurance company. Generated new revenue along with protecting the existing customer base. Utilized internal resources and managed every issue through to completion. With my attention to detail and organization skills that made my Telecommunications carriers experience fun, exciting and successful. Peak Performer Winner in 1999.

Responsibilities included working daily with BSLD to assure the direction and product development would meet the needs and requirements for BellSouth Business and our Large Business customer base. Assembled business cases to identify gaps and help BSLD build a long distance product portfolio.
