DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the Quality Control functions/activities of a project or its parts, including Quality Control inspection schedules and the collection of all site Quality Records.

Assesses the implementation of the project Quality Plan on site.

Supervises inspections, reports and the documentation issued by inspectors and collect and file the required Quality Records.

Ensures the correct application of Quality Control phases for site construction.

Co-coordinating with third party inspection agencies for Witness, Certification, Supply and Training activities.

Qualification of C.S, L.T.C.S, S.S & Structural welders as per approved WPS.

Monitoring joint fit up & Weld visual on daily basis and verifying Daily Fit up report, Welding report, NDT reports, PWHT report, Calibration certificates etc.

Inspection of GRE and CPVC piping, bonding and heating according to the specifications.

Inspection of core piping and jacketed piping,fit up procedure slopping and alignment

Monitoring all activities involved during welding e.g. .Pre-heating, Inter pass temp, Heat input etc as per welding procedure & standards and ensuring that the essential variables are not altered.

Ensure that all QCPs, Work Instructions, Method Statements and Handling procedures are followed.

Selecting the joints for radiography, dye penetrant testing and magnetic particle testing based on material, Isometric drawings, type of joints and welder's performance and visual inspection.
