Operation Engineer at Nubaria combined cycle power plant 2250 MW.

Which consists of?

(1)-Two modules (2x750 MW) each module consists of:

Two units Gas Turbine (Siemens- V94.3A)- Generator Drive (250 MW)

Two horizontal Alston HRSG.

One Mitsubishi Steam Turbine - Generator Drive (250 MW).

(2)-One module (750 MW) consists of:

Two units Gas Turbine (GE MS9FA)- Generator Drive (250 MW).

Two horizontal HRSG (STF).

One ALSTOM Steam Turbine - Generator Drive (250 MW).

Tasks:

Start up and operation gas turbine.

Start up and operation steam turbine.

Monitor power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems..

Control power generating equipment, including boilers, turbines, generators, or reactors, using control boards or semi-automatic equipment.

Regulate equipment operations and conditions, such as water levels, based on instrument data or from computers..

Start or stop generators, auxiliary pumping equipment, turbines, or other power plant equipment as necessary.

Control or maintain auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, condensers, filters, or chlorinators, to supply water, fuel, lubricants, air, or auxiliary power.

Clean, lubricate, or maintain equipment, such as generators, turbines, pumps, or compressors, to prevent failure or deterioration.

Communicate with systems operators to regulate and coordinate line voltages and transmission loads and frequencies.

Start up and operation all auxiliary systems (service water, closed cooling water, Circulating water, compressed air…etc).

Operation engineer at TM2500 project which each site consist of two GE units (TM2500).

Site coordinator at TM2500 project.

Working as operation engineer at sites (Gerga,Cairo East, Heliopolis, Basatin )
