. Serving as the technical supervisor and process engineer of the
Knitting Department management team, my responsibilities included
providing technical support for production activities as well as
dispensing direction to more than 20 technical staff members.
Responsible for implementation, development of process engineering
projects and assignments in tandem with my technical supervisor duties
and commitments. My responsibilities encompassed budgetary management
and advancing cost control measures as well as the proposal and
execution of capital expense projects. Further, I was principally
engaged in personnel development and training, directing and managing
ongoing preventative maintenance operations, and overseeing the
availability, purchasing, and dispensation of departmental stock
requirements. A critical facet of my role included proactive,
interdepartmental communication in pursuit of operational excellence,
root cause analysis to address quality control measures, and

. Within a research and development backdrop, my role was to work on new
products, technology, and processes in a textile environment
specifically related with technical fiber development and circular
knit fabric design.
. As a working technical manager in a circular knitting mill, I directed
some 25 technical and maintenance personnel in the effort to meet
production and quality expectations within a textile environment. I
delegated job assignments and collaborated with the management team to
establish shop floor priorities and to meet organizational
requirements on a daily basis. I provided employees with objective
performance reviews and provided guidance in the effort to foster
progressive employee development. Started in 1997 as a Knit Technician
Level 1 and by January 2001 became the Technical Manager.
