Work Experience

3/04-10/16 Delta Network Services Milford Mi. Network Engineer

Integration and installation of LAN/WAN WLAN VOIP systems and related equipment.

Dedicated full time to Oakland Community College providing onsite engineering and technical support

for all 6 campus locations with over 2000 employees and thousands of students.

Install and manage all LAN, WAN, WLAN switches and routers college wide.

Perform network analysis and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN network issues at all locations.

Work with phone support team to troubleshoot issues with VOIP phone system.

Perform on-going network monitoring using Network Management Systems:

Ridgeline for all Extreme Ethernet switches. Airwave for all Aruba Wireless controllers and AP’s.

As well as some Shoretel VOIP monitoring using Shoretel’s Shoreware Server.

Event Management System is also in use to evaluate network flows and event logging.

Plan and design for moves, adds, changes, capacity expansions network topology changes.

2000 users. Create and maintain network drawings and documentation.
